JU-University of Riau (UR) have a newest collection
of the latest book. A book entitled “Sustainable Palm Oil For Community
Welfare” is a form of UR responsibilities in promoting and supporting
development in Riau Province.
The book launch is done directly by Prof Dr
Ashaluddin Jalil MS, UR Rector together with the holding of the International
Seminar in order of the 50th UR Anniversary, entitled “Sustainable Palm Oil
Plantation For Community Welfare” at Hotel Premiere, Thursday (27/9).
The book has the ten subtitle lecturers from
various lecturers in various faculties in UR. Such as lecturer from Faculty of
Agriculture (FAPERTA), Faculty of Engineering (FT), Faculty of Mathematics and
Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), and
the Faculty of Economics (FEKON).
This UR Press publications was witnessed by
Rismansyah Director General Ministry of Agriculture Plant Industry of the
Republic of Indonesia, Drs H Zulher Head of Plantation Riau, and Anas Maamun
Head of Rokan Hilir Regent.
According to UR Rector’s explained on
introductory page of the book, hope that this book can contribute comprehensive
in discussing aspects of oil palm plantations. This proves that UR academic is
able to contribute significantly to the development of thought in the province
